Hi there, I’m Agata

I live in Ottawa, Canada. I have worked here as a professional English teacher for over 25 years. I am passionate about teaching English and seeing my students master their skills and build their confidence.

I hold a Master’s Degree in English Language and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of Cambridge. I am also a member of the Teachers of English as a Second Language Association of Ontario. I have been working as an ESL teacher for a school board in Ottawa since 1998, teaching adult learners of all  levels of proficiency in English.

I started this website to help my former, present, and future ESL students to find useful information on the Internet and answer their questions about the English language learning. I hope to expand this website and add such useful tools as quizzes and videos in the future. It’s work in progress so please be patient!
